与会人士呼吁铭记历史 守护自由与人权

【慕尼黑讯】2026年6月4日，在“六四事件”三十七周年之际，由光华社与中国民主党国际同盟（CDP-IAI）共同举办的六四纪念活动在中国驻慕尼黑总领事馆前举行。来自德国各地的民主人士、六四亲历者及关心中国民主、人权事业的华人华侨二十余人参加了此次活动，共同悼念六四死难者，追思历史真相，并呼吁国际社会持续关注中国的人权状况与民主发展。

活动由光华社社长张冠元主持。张冠元在开场致辞中表示，三十七年前发生的六四事件是中国现代历史上无法回避的重要篇章。尽管中共当局长期通过审查、封锁和宣传试图淡化甚至抹去这段历史，但真相不会因遗忘而消失，记忆也不会因压制而终结。纪念六四不仅是为了缅怀逝者，更是为了捍卫历史真相，守护自由、人权与民主价值。活动现场气氛庄严肃穆。与会者手持横幅和标语，在总领馆前举行悼念仪式，并通过演讲和发言表达对六四死难者的追思以及对中国民主化进程的关注。

作为六四事件亲历者，李东澂在发言中几度哽咽，声泪俱下地回忆了1989年亲身经历的历史场景，并控诉中共当局对和平请愿学生和市民实施武力镇压的行为。他表示，六四不仅改变了无数人的命运，也成为许多中国人心中难以愈合的伤痛。三十七年来，官方对历史真相的掩盖和对受难者家属的持续打压，更加凸显了坚持纪念与追求真相的重要意义。随后，唐国刚、廖水水、张娜、赵书雅、李桃红、杨群、王星星、李康等民主人士分别发表感言。他们从不同角度回顾了六四事件对中国社会产生的深远影响，并围绕言论自由、人权保障、公民社会发展以及海外华人民主运动等议题进行了交流和探讨。发言者普遍认为，六四不仅是一段历史记忆，更是一面映照现实的镜子，提醒人们持续关注自由与人权价值的重要性。活动期间，前媒体人、摄影师、民主人士杨肖杰发表了题为《六四不是历史，六四仍在发生》的主题演讲。他表示，三十七年来，中共当局持续通过审查和信息封锁试图抹去公众对六四的记忆，但历史不会被遗忘，真相终将被传承。他指出，1989年学生所提出的反腐败、新闻自由和政治改革等诉求，至今仍具有重要现实意义。杨肖杰在演讲中表示：“我们没有忘记，我们绝不忘记。六四不是历史，六四仍在发生。”他呼吁人们铭记历史、坚持追求自由与民主，并向所有为中国民主事业付出代价的人士表达敬意。活动最后，与会人士共同向六四死难者默哀，并表达对中国未来实现自由、民主、人权与法治的期盼。

The 37th Anniversary Commemoration of June Fourth Held in Munich Attendees Call for Remembering History and Safeguarding Freedom and Human Rights

[MUNICH] On June 4, 2026, on the occasion of the 37th anniversary of the “June Fourth Incident,” a commemoration event jointly organized by the Guanghua Society and the China Democracy Party International Alliance (CDP-IAI) was held in front of the Consulate General of the People’s Republic of China in Munich. More than twenty people, including pro-democracy activists from various parts of Germany, eyewitnesses of the June Fourth Incident, and overseas Chinese who care about China’s democracy and human rights causes, attended the event. Together, they mourned the victims of June Fourth, reflected on the truth of history, and called on the international community to maintain continuous attention to China’s human rights situation and democratic development.

The event was presided over by Zhang Guanyuan, the president of the Guanghua Society. In his opening remarks, Zhang Guanyuan stated that the June Fourth Incident, which occurred thirty-seven years ago, is an unavoidable and important chapter in modern Chinese history. Although the CCP authorities have long attempted to downplay or even erase this piece of history through censorship, blockades, and propaganda, the truth will not vanish due to oblivion, nor will memories end because of suppression. Commemorating June Fourth is not only to mourn the deceased, but also to defend historical truth and safeguard the values of freedom, human rights, and democracy.

The atmosphere at the event venue was solemn and dignified. Holding banners and slogans, attendees held a memorial ceremony in front of the Consulate General, expressing their remembrance of the June Fourth victims and their concern for China’s democratization process through speeches and presentations.

As an eyewitness of the June Fourth Incident, Li Dongcheng choked up several times during his speech. Moving to tears, he recalled the historical scenes he personally experienced in 1989 and denounced the CCP authorities’ use of military force to crack down on peacefully petitioning students and citizens. He expressed that June Fourth not only changed the destinies of countless people but also became an unhealing wound in the hearts of many Chinese people. Over the past thirty-seven years, the official cover-up of historical truth and the continuous suppression of the families of the victims have further highlighted the significant importance of persisting in commemoration and pursuing the truth.

Subsequently, pro-democracy activists including Tang Guogang, Liao Shuishui, Zhang Na, Zhao Shuya, Li Taohong, Yang Qun, Wang Xingxing, and Li Kang delivered their remarks respectively. They reviewed the profound impact of the June Fourth Incident on Chinese society from different perspectives, and exchanged and discussed topics surrounding freedom of speech, the protection of human rights, the development of civil society, and the overseas Chinese democracy movement. The speakers generally agreed that June Fourth is not only a historical memory, but also a mirror reflecting reality, reminding people of the continuous importance of focusing on the values of freedom and human rights.

During the event, Yang Xiaojie, a former media professional, photographer, and pro-democracy activist, delivered a keynote speech titled “June Fourth is Not History; June Fourth is Still Happening.” He stated that for thirty-seven years, the CCP authorities have continuously attempted to erase the public memory of June Fourth through censorship and information blockades; however, history will not be forgotten, and the truth will eventually be passed down. He pointed out that the demands raised by students in 1989, such as anti-corruption, freedom of the press, and political reform, still carry important practical significance today. Yang Xiaojie stated in his speech: “We have not forgotten, and we will never forget. June Fourth is not history; June Fourth is still happening.” He called on people to remember history, persist in the pursuit of freedom and democracy, and paid tribute to all those who have paid a price for China’s democratic cause.

At the end of the event, the attendees observed a moment of silence together for the victims of June Fourth, and expressed their expectations for China’s future realization of freedom, democracy, human rights, and the rule of law.
