To go to Scotland and watch the rain.

In the rainy mountains, leaving footprints of our climb;

Upon the rainy lakes, rowing a boat, letting the wind rage and the waves tower.

I have an appointment with Liu Xia,

To go to Land’s End and look at the sea.

On the restless surface of the ocean, Liu Xiaobo’s smiling face faintly appears;

Let the gusts of sea breeze send forth our endless remembrance.

I have an appointment with Liu Xia,

To place the “empty chair” in Tiananmen Square.

The crown of the dictator has already fallen to the ground,

Countless passersby will say to the empty chair: Xiaobo, hello!
