【旧金山讯】 2026年7月1日上午，旧金山中国驻总领事馆前聚集了来自不同族裔和背景的数十位人士。中国民主党旧金山党部、中国民主教育基金会，以及北加州西藏协会、旧金山地区西藏青年会、湾区西藏之友、自由西藏学生运动（台湾）、中国国民党旧金山分部等多个团体共同举行和平集会，反对当天正式施行的《中华人民共和国民族团结进步促进法》，呼吁国际社会持续关注中国少数民族的语言文化保护、宗教自由及人权状况。
当天适逢中国共产党成立105周年，也是《民族团结进步促进法》正式实施的日子。集会现场悬挂着“拒绝百年奴役”“反对《民族团结进步促进法》”“Free Tibet”“Free Hong Kong”等中英文横幅和标语，不同团体代表轮流发言。现场中英文口号此起彼伏，不少途经民众驻足聆听、了解活动内容，也有车辆鸣笛表示支持，使整个集会气氛庄重而坚定。

主办方表示，选择于7月1日举行此次集会，既是因为当天是中国共产党成立105周年，也是《中华人民共和国民族团结进步促进法》正式实施之日，希望借这一具有象征意义的时间节点，呼吁社会关注民族语言、文化、宗教自由及人权等议题，并持续关注相关群体所面临的处境。
随后，多位来自民主团体和不同族裔社区的代表依次发言，从历史、人权、民族文化及海外公民社会责任等多个角度表达看法。
华语青年挺藏会会长段荆棘（Ginger左一）
当天的发言中，华语青年挺藏会会长Ginger围绕民族文化和语言保护进行了较为深入的阐述。她表示，真正的民族团结，不应建立在文化趋同或身份弱化的基础上，而应建立在彼此尊重、平等交流和维护文化多样性的前提下。
她在发言中提到，近期青海一所藏语职业高中被关闭，再次引起外界对民族语言教育的关注。她认为，语言不仅是沟通工具，更承载着一个民族的历史记忆、文化传统和身份认同，如果母语教育逐渐消失，民族文化也可能面临更大的挑战。
Ginger还介绍了青年倡议者张雅笛（Tara）的案例。她表示，张雅笛长期推动汉藏青年交流，并关注藏人使用母语接受教育的议题，希望通过对话增进不同民族之间的理解。在她看来，不同民族能够超越彼此成见、共同维护文化多样性，本身就是民族团结的重要体现。
她说，真正稳定、长久的民族关系，应建立在尊重彼此文化、语言和历史的基础上，而不是建立在彼此对立之上。她呼吁国际社会持续关注民族语言教育、文化传承及相关人权议题，也希望更多年轻人能够跨越偏见，通过交流建立理解，让不同民族能够在平等与尊重中共同发展。
中国民主党旧金山党部活动部部长、“一人一推关注良心犯”发起人之一郭志军表示，105年前的7月1日，邪恶的中共宣告成立，中国从此陷入长达一个多世紀的浩劫；29年前的7月1日，中共將魔爪伸向香港，东方之珠逐渐失去光明。今年7月1日，《民族團結進步促進法》正式生效，這不僅是對國內民眾的加重压制，更是將专制黑手伸向全球的无恥行径。
郭志军強调：「7月1日不仅是一个标致性的日子，更是我们对中共百年罪恶的审判之日！」他压制中共从反右到文革、三年大饥荒、天安门大屠殺等罪行，指出中共虽然拥有坦克、高墙与无孔不入的监控，卻最害怕真相、最害怕人民不再恐惧。
随后，民主人士郭鉴鑫围绕历史记忆、人权和法治发表讲话。他表示，回顾中国近现代历史，许多普通民众在不同历史时期经历了政治运动、社会动荡和人权侵害，无论是历次政治运动中的无辜受害者，还是因信仰自由、言论自由及维护基本权利而遭受打压的人，他们的经历都不应随着时间流逝而被遗忘。
郭鉴鑫认为，一个社会只有勇于面对历史、尊重历史，才能真正避免悲剧重演。他表示，任何公共权力都应受到法律和社会监督，人民依法享有的言论、信仰和基本人权应得到尊重与保障。面对历史带来的伤痛，不应以沉默代替反思，也不应让遗忘取代记忆。
他呼吁社会持续关注中国的人权状况，希望未来能够建立一个更加尊重自由、民主、法治和人权的社会，让每个人都能够拥有尊严地生活、自由表达和平等参与社会发展。

中国民主党党员李小林指出，今天是中共建党 105 周年、香港沦陷29周年，同时还是恶法《民族团结进步促进法》生效的日子。中共在 105 年前建党的时候开始就是一个骗子，欺骗中国广大的无产阶级，推翻政府，建立民主中国。结果 1949 年中共建国开始，一直到 2026 年的今天，不但中国人民始终一直都没有人权，没有自由，没有民主，而且破坏世界秩序，欺骗全世界。他表示今天在这自由的国度，反对中国共产党，反对他们推出的非法之法，声援国内所有的政治犯，良心犯！最后他高喊：要求中共立即释放所有的政治犯，良心犯！还我自由，还我民主！共产党下台！独裁必亡！
中国民主党党部Fremont党部主任刘静涛认为中国共产党的成立给中国人带来了巨大的灾难，他形容中共是一个典型的邪教组织，就像太平天国失败于清，中共成立于民国，他们的成功使数以亿计的人的生命付出了代价，我们要提醒全世界要警惕共产党这个邪恶的组织，这个组织会给全世界带来巨大的影响，甚至是灾难。我们有责任传播真相，让全世界的人都了解中共的邪恶本质。
中国民主党旧金山党部Fremont 支部副主任、宣传部副部长吕小静表示，来到美国后，她更加深刻体会到自由表达的珍贵，也更加珍惜能够公开发表观点、参与公共讨论的机会。她认为，《民族团结进步促进法》的实施，引发了许多人对民族语言、文化、宗教和传统习俗未来发展的担忧。语言不仅承载着历史，更维系着一个民族的文化记忆和身份认同，任何文化都应获得应有的尊重与传承。
她呼吁海外华人善用X、YouTube、TikTok等网络平台，分享真实历史和不同声音，让更多年轻人了解历史、认识自由的价值。她表示，希望越来越多人能够勇敢发声，让历史不被遗忘，让真相持续传播，让更多人知道中共的独裁统治！

集会最后，与会者共同高喊”反对中共恶法”“反对独裁暴政”“我们要民主自由”“支持西藏”“光复香港”等口号。响亮的呼声回荡在中国驻旧金山总领馆前，也为当天活动画下句点。与会人士表示，只要仍有人坚持记录历史、传播真相、守护自由，追求民主与人权的努力便不会停止。

[San Francisco News] On the morning of July 1, 2026, dozens of individuals from various ethnic groups and backgrounds gathered in front of the Chinese Consulate General in San Francisco. The Chinese Democratic Party San Francisco Headquarters, the Chinese Democratic Education Foundation, along with multiple organizations including the Tibetan Association of Northern California, the Tibetan Youth Congress of the San Francisco Bay Area, the Bay Area Friends of Tibet, Students for a Free Tibet (Taiwan), and the Chinese Nationalist Party (Kuomintang) San Francisco Branch, jointly held a peaceful rally to oppose the “Law of the People’s Republic of China on Promoting Ethnic Unity and Progress,” which officially went into effect on that day, and to call on the international community to maintain continuous attention on the protection of linguistic and cultural heritages, religious freedom, and the human rights situation of China’s ethnic minorities.
The day coincided with the 105th anniversary of the founding of the Chinese Communist Party and marked the official implementation date of the “Law on Promoting Ethnic Unity and Progress.” At the rally site, banners and slogans in both Chinese and English, such as “Rejecting a Century of Enslavement,” “Opposing the ‘Law on Promoting Ethnic Unity and Progress’,” “Free Tibet,” and “Free Hong Kong,” were prominently displayed, and representatives from different organizations took turns to speak. Slogans in Chinese and English rose and fell one after another at the scene; many passing citizens paused to listen and learn about the purpose of the event, and some vehicles honked their horns in a show of support, rendering the atmosphere of the entire rally solemn and resolute.

The organizers stated that choosing to hold this rally on July 1 was both because that day marked the 105th anniversary of the founding of the Chinese Communist Party and because it was the day the “Law of the People’s Republic of China on Promoting Ethnic Unity and Progress” officially went into effect; they hoped to utilize this highly symbolic historical juncture to call for public attention to issues such as ethnic languages, culture, religious freedom, and human rights, and to maintain continuous focus on the situations faced by the relevant groups.
Subsequently, several representatives from democratic organizations and different ethnic communities spoke in succession, expressing their views from multiple perspectives, including history, human rights, ethnic culture, and the responsibilities of overseas civil society.

In her speech that day, Ginger, President of the Chinese Youth Supporting Tibet Association, elaborating relatively deeply around the protection of ethnic culture and language. She stated that true ethnic unity should not be built upon the foundation of cultural assimilation or the weakening of identity, but rather on the premise of mutual respect, equal exchange, and the safeguarding of cultural diversity.
In her speech, she mentioned that the recent closure of a Tibetan-language vocational high school in Qinghai has once again drawn external attention to ethnic language education. She believes that language is not only a communication tool but also carries the historical memory, cultural traditions, and identity of an ethnic group; if mother-tongue education gradually disappears, ethnic culture may also face even greater challenges.
Ginger also introduced the case of youth advocate Zhang Yadi (Tara). She stated that Zhang Yadi has long promoted exchanges between Han and Tibetan youth and focused on the issue of Tibetans receiving education using their mother tongue, hoping to enhance understanding between different ethnic groups through dialogue. In her view, the ability of different ethnic groups to transcend mutual prejudices and jointly safeguard cultural diversity is itself an important manifestation of ethnic unity.
She said that truly stable and long-lasting relations among ethnic groups should be built upon the foundation of respecting each other’s culture, language, and history, rather than being built upon mutual antagonism. She called on the international community to maintain continuous attention on ethnic language education, cultural inheritance, and related human rights issues, and also expressed hope that more young people can transcend prejudice, establish understanding through communication, and enable different ethnic groups to develop together amidst equality and respect.
Guo Zhijun, Director of the Activity Department of the Chinese Democratic Party San Francisco Headquarters and co-founder of the “One Person, One Tweet for Conscience Prisoners” initiative, stated that on July 1, 105 years ago, the evil Chinese Communist Party declared its founding, plunging China into a catastrophe lasting over a century; on July 1, 29 years ago, the Chinese Communist Party extended its demonic claws into Hong Kong, causing the Pearl of the Orient to gradually lose its brilliance. On July 1 of this year, the “Law on Promoting Ethnic Unity and Progress” officially went into effect, which is not only an intensified suppression of the domestic populace but also a shameless act of extending the black hand of authoritarianism globally.
Guo Zhijun emphasized: “July 1 is not only a landmark day, but even more so the day of judgment for us regarding the century of crimes committed by the Chinese Communist Party!” He denounced the crimes of the Chinese Communist Party ranging from the Anti-Rightist Movement to the Cultural Revolution, the Three Years of Great Famine, and the Tiananmen Square Massacre, pointing out that although the Chinese Communist Party possesses tanks, high walls, and omnipresent surveillance, what it fears most is the truth, and it fears most when the people are no longer afraid.
Subsequently, democratic activist Guo Jianxin delivered a speech centered around historical memory, human rights, and the rule of law. He stated that looking back at modern and contemporary Chinese history, many ordinary citizens experienced political movements, social turmoil, and human rights violations during different historical periods; whether they were innocent victims of past political movements, or individuals subjected to suppression due to their freedom of belief, freedom of speech, and defense of fundamental rights, their experiences must not be forgotten as time passes.
Guo Jianxin believes that only when a society has the courage to confront history and respect history can it truly prevent tragedies from repeating. He stated that any public power should be subject to legal and social supervision, and the freedom of speech, belief, and fundamental human rights that the people enjoy according to law must be respected and guaranteed. In the face of the trauma brought by history, silence should not replace reflection, nor should forgetting supplant memory.
He called on society to maintain continuous attention on China’s human rights situation, expressing hope that a society that further respects freedom, democracy, the rule of law, and human rights can be established in the future, so that everyone can live with dignity, express themselves freely, and participate equally in social development.

Chinese Democratic Party member Li Xiaolin pointed out that today marks the 105th anniversary of the founding of the Chinese Communist Party, the 29th anniversary of the fall of Hong Kong, and is also the day when the evil “Law on Promoting Ethnic Unity and Progress” goes into effect. From the very beginning when the Chinese Communist Party was founded 105 years ago, it was a deceiver, tricking the vast proletariat of China into overthrowing the government to establish a democratic China. As a result, from the founding of the Chinese Communist Party’s state in 1949 all the way to today in 2026, not only have the Chinese people consistently lacked human rights, freedom, and democracy, but the regime has also disrupted the international order and deceived the entire world. He expressed that today, in this free nation, they oppose the Chinese Communist Party, oppose the illegal law introduced by them, and stand in solidarity with all political prisoners and prisoners of conscience inside China! Finally, he shouted aloud: Demand that the Chinese Communist Party immediately release all political prisoners and prisoners of conscience! Return my freedom, return my democracy! Step down, Communist Party! Dictatorship is bound to perish!
Liu Jingtao, Director of the Fremont Branch of the Chinese Democratic Party Headquarters, believes that the founding of the Chinese Communist Party brought massive disasters to the Chinese people. He described the Chinese Communist Party as a typical cult organization, noting that just as the Taiping Heavenly Kingdom fell to the Qing Dynasty, the Chinese Communist Party was founded during the Republic of China era, and their success came at the cost of hundreds of millions of human lives. He emphasized that we must remind the entire world to be vigilant against the evil organization that is the Communist Party, as this organization will bring massive impacts, and even disasters, to the whole world. We have a responsibility to spread the truth and ensure that people worldwide understand the evil nature of the Chinese Communist Party.
Lyu Xiaojing, Deputy Director of the Fremont Branch and Deputy Director of the Publicity Department of the Chinese Democratic Party San Francisco Headquarters, stated that after coming to the United States, she has more profoundly experienced the preciousness of free expression, and cherishes even more the opportunities to publicly voice her views and participate in public discussions. She believes that the implementation of the “Law on Promoting Ethnic Unity and Progress” has triggered concerns among many people regarding the future development of ethnic languages, culture, religion, and traditional customs. Language not only carries history but also sustains the cultural memory and identity of an ethnic group; any culture should receive its due respect and inheritance.
She called on overseas Chinese to make good use of online platforms such as X, YouTube, and TikTok to share true history and different voices, allowing more young people to understand history and recognize the value of freedom. She expressed hope that more and more people can courageously speak out, ensuring that history is not forgotten, that the truth continues to spread, and that more people become aware of the authoritarian rule of the Chinese Communist Party!

At the conclusion of the rally, the participants jointly shouted slogans such as “Oppose the Evil Laws of the Chinese Communist Party,” “Oppose Dictatorial Tyranny,” “We Want Democracy and Freedom,” “Support Tibet,” and “Liberate Hong Kong.” The resounding shouts echoed in front of the Chinese Consulate General in San Francisco, bringing the day’s event to a close. Those in attendance expressed that as long as there are still people who persist in recording history, spreading the truth, and safeguarding freedom, the efforts to pursue democracy and human rights will never stop.
