Freedom of speech is not guilty, calling on the Communist Party of China to release Hu Yang

Author: Quan Lujun

Editor: Zhang Zhijun Responsible Editor: Luo Zhifei Translator: Cheng Ming

We all know that many Chinese democrats have been convicted for their words and have been brutally suppressed and persecuted by the Communist Party of China.

I have summarized three points:

First, the Communist Party of China persecutes democrats and suppresses freedom of speech, so that the truth cannot be spread, which is harmful to democratic freedom and a regression of human society.

Second, the behavior of the Communist Party of China will have a very bad demonstration effect on other countries and regimes in the world, which is also harmful to democracy and freedom.

Third, the Communist Party of China is selfish and has no bottom line. The Communist Party of China cannot deprive everyone of their innate rights. This is the right given to everyone by God. The existence of the Communist Party of China is anti-human and anti-social, so it is right to stop evil.

Shi Qingmei, a democrat who participated in solidarity activities, said: Hu Yang is not guilty, because freedom of speech is the right granted to Chinese people by the Constitution. If the Communist Party of China suppresses a young man in this way and blatantly violates its own constitution, it will be laughed at by the people of the civilized world. In addition, I appeal to those public security prison guards, you should be kind to political prisoners and raise the muzzle an inch higher, because they have not done a mistake. History will prove all this. If we continue to do evil for the Communist Party of China, I I believe that one day history will liquidate you.

Through the “September 3rd Military Parade” to Observe Xi Jinping’s Cult of Personality

Author: Luo Zhifei
Editor: Hu Lili Translator: Lyu Feng

Abstract: On September 3, 2025, the military parade commemorating the “Victory of the War of Resistance Against Japan” is being prepared in full swing. Xi Jinping will once again ascend the Tiananmen Rostrum for the third time, personally presiding over this highly symbolic ceremony.

On September 3, 2025, tanks will once again roll across Tiananmen Square. According to official designation, this day marks both the “Victory of the War of Resistance Against Japan” and the “Victory of the World Anti-Fascist War.” The commemorative assembly and the large-scale military parade are being prepared with great intensity. Xi Jinping will, for the third time, appear atop Tiananmen Rostrum to personally preside over this highly symbolic ceremony.

The military parade has become his political instrument for consolidating personal authority and reinforcing ideological narratives. From military reforms and purges of top commanders, to new weapons development and defense industry expansion, the parade has become the showcase of his so-called “strong military dream”—or, more accurately, the showcase of his cult of personality project.

(The September 3, 2025 Parade: The Three Evil Dictators Will Jointly Watch the Military Display)

From “First Time” to “Normalization”Xi Jinping had been in power for only three years before he could no longer suppress his true ambitions. Beginning with the 2015 grand military parade commemorating the 70th anniversary of the victory in the War of Resistance Against Japan, Xi for the first time broke with the three-decade convention of holding parades only on National Day, inaugurating the so-called “September 3rd Parade” in the name of the 70th anniversary of victory.

Since then, he has repeatedly staged parades at major political moments: the 90th anniversary of the PLA in 2017, the South China Sea naval parade in 2018, the Qingdao naval review in April 2019, the 70th anniversary of the PRC’s founding in 2019, and again in 2025 for the 80th anniversary of the victory over Japan. He even chose locations outside the capital on multiple occasions, creating the precedent of “field parades.”

By contrast, Deng Xiaoping, Jiang Zemin, and Hu Jintao each presided over only one Tiananmen military parade during their tenures. Xi Jinping, however, has turned parades into his own annual political spectacle, with a frequency that surpasses any previous CCP leader.

The Totalitarian Aesthetics of Collective Sensory Manipulation

Under Xi Jinping, the military parade is not merely a demonstration of armed strength, but a collective performance steeped in Soviet-style totalitarian aesthetics. The synchronized marching, the overwhelming phalanxes of weaponry, and the ubiquitous nationalist slogans together construct a visual cult of “power and order.”

In such scenes, the individual is erased, the collective is deified, and the status of the supreme leader is infinitely magnified. When soldiers shout in unison, “Greetings, Commander!” and “Obey the Party’s command,” when the background music swells with refrains of “Loyalty to the Party,” and when the camera invariably lingers on Xi atop the Tiananmen Rostrum, this is not merely a display of command over the military—it is a visual ritual of swearing personal allegiance.

Discourse Monopoly and Historical ManipulationXi Jinping’s obsession with military parades also stems from his tight control over historical narratives. He is particularly adept at binding major commemorative days to the legitimacy of the Party-state. For instance, at the 2015 September 3rd parade, he deliberately stressed that “without the Chinese Communist Party there would have been no victory in the War of Resistance” and that “the CCP was the backbone of the war effort,” attributing the entirety of the victory to the Party while remaining vague about the immense sacrifices of the three million Nationalist troops.

Moreover, parades often intersperse short films of veteran soldiers, display portraits of war veterans, and arrange floats with resistance themes. The purpose is not to commemorate history, but to “remold memory”: to forcibly implant into the national consciousness the idea that “the CCP was the sole force of national liberation,” thereby further strengthening the regime’s claim to legitimacy.

Leader as Totem and the Religion of the State

In the mass procession segment of the 2019 National Day parade, for the first time, giant portraits of former leaders—Mao Zedong, Deng Xiaoping, Jiang Zemin, and Hu Jintao—were displayed in sequence, alongside that of Xi Jinping himself. This arrangement carried an overt political-religious symbolism: the leaders were cast as totemic figures, while history was compressed into a single linear narrative serving the legitimacy of power.

The tears streaming down the faces of spectators were no accident, but rather the product of orchestrated ritual and visual manipulation. These meticulously crafted symbols all served one purpose: to stir nationwide nationalist emotion and then bind that emotion to the current regime. The ultimate message was clear—people were to believe that only Xi Jinping could safeguard national dignity.

Behind the Parade Lies Anxiety About the Future

Against the backdrop of an economy on the verge of collapse and mounting social tensions, the 2025 parade serves more as a “political anesthetic” for an uncertain future. Xi Jinping is acutely aware that he must continuously manufacture the illusion of victory in order to sustain the legitimacy of his rule. Among the tools available, the military parade is one of the most efficient and most symbolic.

Yet behind this state image propped up by parades lies a deepening erosion of public trust, the suppression of dissenting voices, and the leader’s obsession with an “illusion of authority.” Once the masses recover from the fleeting intoxication of the spectacle, they are left to confront the crushing pressures of daily life and the fate of being harvested like chives.

The Cold War Has Never Ended

Author: Zhang Xinggui (Mainland China)
Editor: Feng Reng
Translator:He XingQiang

The Cold War was a comprehensive showdown between two systems—socialism and capitalism, between two sets of values—closed authoritarianism and open democracy. As long as socialist systems exist, along with economic models dominated by planned economies and public ownership, the Cold War has not ended—it has merely been put on pause. The U.S.–China trade war is not just an economic contest but the continuation of the Cold War: beginning with economics, ending with politics.

I. The U.S.–China Trade War: The Cold War Restarted

The Cold War, a confrontation without gunfire in the 20th century, profoundly shaped the modern international order. The competition between the U.S. and the Soviet Union in ideology, social systems, economic models, and military power not only divided the world map but also planted the seeds of global rivalry and conflict. After the collapse of the Soviet Union, the world seemed to usher in the “end of history,” yet the Cold War never fully dissipated. The U.S.–China struggle is a vivid continuation of that legacy.

First, ideological confrontation runs throughout. The U.S., centered on free markets and democratic values, seeks to maintain its dominant global order; China, flying the banner of “socialism with Chinese characteristics,” emphasizes national sovereignty and the right to development—echoing the Cold War-era opposition between the U.S.-led “free world” and the “capitalist camp” versus the Orwellian “1984 world” and the “socialist bloc.”

Second, the struggle for technological and economic supremacy is at the heart of the trade war. During the Cold War, the U.S. and the Soviet Union engaged in fierce competition in nuclear weapons and space technology. Today, the U.S. and China are locked in intense rivalry in frontier technologies such as 5G, artificial intelligence, and semiconductors.

Finally, the reshaping of the global order is the deeper goal of the trade war. During the Cold War, the U.S. and the Soviet Union fought for global influence through alliances and divisions. Today, the U.S. and China attempt to reshape global economic rules in their favor through trade agreements, regional cooperation, and international organizations.

II. A Clash of Two Systems and Civilizations

The U.S.–China struggle is not only a continuation of the Cold War but also a direct confrontation between two systems—socialism and capitalism—and two civilizations—Eastern collectivism and Western individualism.

Capitalism, centered on individual freedom, market competition, and private ownership, has driven the rapid global economic growth since the Industrial Revolution. Socialism with Chinese characteristics, on the other hand, emphasizes state leadership, collectivism, and public ownership.

Civilizational differences further intensify the conflict. Western civilization, rooted in individualism, emphasizes individual rights, freedom of expression, and democratic institutions. Chinese culture stresses collectivism, harmony, and social stability, underpinned by centralized authority, hierarchy, and social control.

This contest is not merely about the distribution of present-day interests but about determining which system is superior, which path can better lead the future of history. This decisive struggle is not only a clash of systems and civilizations but also a choice about human needs and the direction of history.

Proposal for the National Constitutional Republic

Author: Zuo Zhihai
Editor: Zhang Zhijun Responsible Editor: Luo Zhifei Translator: Ming Cheng

Abstract: To Chinese citizens: The so-called “socialism” of the Communist Party of China is actually a scam, a “harvest scam”, a scam made by the Communist Party of China for Chinese people to harvest and oppress Chinese people.

To Chinese citizens:

Ladies and gentlemen! Do you understand everything? The so-called “socialism” of the Communist Party of China is actually a scam, a “harvesting scam”, a scam specially made by the Communist Party of China for the Chinese people to harvest and oppress the Chinese people. To this day, most of our Chinese people have fallen into the institutional poverty and institutional dilemma caused by the Communist Party of China system.

Today, the reason why more than one billion Chinese people live in poverty and have no hope is not because we don’t work hard enough, nor because we have no ability, nor because we have suffered enough, nor because of the exploitation of foreign capitalist forces and imperialism. These are the most vicious lies made up by the Communist Party of China. The reason why we are so poor today and the reason why life is hopeless is that the essence of the whole new China is a people’s harvester, and because the new China of the Communist Party of China is a people’s breeding slaughterhouse. The reason why we more than one billion Chinese people are trapped in suffering, poverty and busy is entirely because of this society formulated by the Communist Party of China. Caused by the association system, the social system of the Communist Party of China is a copy of the “Manchu and Qing 33 taels of silver policy”. We are the poor people of the country specially created by the Communist Party of China to maintain its authoritarianism, to maintain its enjoyment of privileges, and to facilitate its harvesting and squeezing.

Under the social system of the Communist Party of China, even if the poor people in our country work hard all year round, they are far from being able to meet the most basic living needs of themselves and their families. They make us busy all year round to make a living. They only have to work, pay taxes, sacrifice and dedication but have no life, and let us just live. I have exhausted my strength and have no time to think. I have no time to care about body, mind, justice, dignity, and nothing else.

In the “harvest bureau” of the Communist Party of China, they first changed China’s executive organs, legislative organs, judicial departments and the army from the public authorities of the state to the private departments of the Communist Party of China, and the Chinese government, people’s congresses, public prosecution, army and national finance (New China) that should have belonged to and served the Chinese people. The purpose and consequence of the financial operation of the family is to collect all the national resources and public wealth, private enterprises, private fat and people’s ointment into the pockets of the leading cadres and backbone members of the Communist Party of China and their families.) They have all become private party tools for the Communist Party of China to rule China and harvest and squeeze the Chinese people. Then turn the Chinese Constitution, which should be used to protect the rights and interests of Chinese citizens, into party rules that the Communist Party of China can modify and formulate at will and use it to regulate us.

After that, the Communist Party of China robbed the national resources that should belong to you in the name of state-owned, public ownership and collective ownership, stole the public wealth that should belong to you, and occupied the state resources and public wealth (including national revenue) that should be used by the Chinese people and owned by the Chinese people as the private property of the Communist Party of China, and for them Exclusively, the Communist Party of China makes the Chinese people have no right to enjoy state resources, no right to enjoy public wealth, and even no right to own land. They have turned the Chinese people into a real proletariat, making you have nothing, and making the Chinese people lose the most basic state and social security.

After that, the Communist Party of China then monopolized the necessary resources for the survival of the Chinese people. They started from the food, clothing, housing and transportation of the Chinese people, and from the survival and reproduction of the Chinese people, they put the land, housing, medical care, education, old-age care, social security, market, finance, water, electricity, gas, oil, mineral deposits, People’s livelihood such as communication and transportation must all be made into weapons for them to harvest the Chinese people, and in the name of the country, they should harvest and squeeze the people under the guise of serving the people.

In the “harvesting bureau” of the Communist Party of China, you can’t be poor. They have built a sophisticated “new Chinese social system” with their social system. In this “new Chinese social system”, the hard work, hard work and talent of the vast majority of Chinese people will be invalidated by this social system, because no matter how you fight Life, hard work, and no matter how good talent and talent you have, you can’t catch up with the harvest and utilization of the Communist Party of China’s social system; moreover, no matter how much money you earn, how big a company you have opened, and how much material wealth you have created, the Communist Party of China can use the public power at any time and the national strength. The “legal” punishment and the communist property can easily use the public prosecution law to make you lose your family and property; moreover, no matter how much you suffer for this country, no matter how much sacrifices and dedication you pay, it will not help, because the “new Chinese social system” of the Communist Party of China is not distributed according to labor, and also It is not distributed according to the social value you create, let alone according to the degree of your contribution to the country, the people and society, but according to the degree of official position, power, and according to blood relationship. Therefore, no matter how hard work, sacrifice and dedication you are, only the leaders of the Communist Party of China will benefit in the end. The Ministry and their comrades; also because the vast majority of the distribution power of resources and wealth in New China are in the hands of the leading cadres of the Communist Party of China, they and their second, third and fourth generations (Tianlong people) have easily taken away all the good resources, wealth, positions, treatment and opportunities of our country, and therefore People who are talented, capable and talented in New China often don’t get suitable positions, let alone get anything important. They have no opportunity to give full play to their strengths. Therefore, most of the talents in New China can only be ruined and wasted by the Communist Party of China under the leadership and power. A small number of them are unwilling to bow down to the leaders and give in. Those in power have to be exiled overseas; and the vast majority of our people can only be harvested and squeezed by the Communist Party of China in the social system of New China, and can only be lived for the leading cadres and families of the Communist Party of China in poverty, fatigue, hardship and hardship, and become the society of the Communist Party of China. The poor people of the country produced and manufactured by the “New Chinese Social System”. So much so that today’s Chinese have become the most hard-working but hard-working people in the world. So much so that we have even become a nation with only exams and work, but almost no life, only working hard all their lives.

As you can see, from the Qin and Han Dynasties to the present, for more than 2,000 years, why have our Chinese people been like grass mustard? Why have all dynasties suffered from the people in the rise of the world and the suffering of the people in the world? Why is there no shortage of years of hunger and people eating each other in the history of every dynasty? Why are all the people who are poor, disadvantaged, fooled and suffering in any dynasty or generation? Because, from the Qin and Han Dynasties to the present, the power to formulate China’s “State Rules” has always been not in the hands of the Chinese people, but in the hands of the emperor, dictators, the Communist Party of China, and the authoritarian political parties and other private parties.

Before February 12, 1912, Chinese emperors were supreme and controlled the life and death of the Chinese people. Whatever the emperor said became the supreme rule of the country. The imperial court and princes and generals were only tools to maintain the imperial power, while our country and the people were all just emperors. The emperor’s private property.

After October 1, 1949, the Communist Party of China embezzled all Chinese state public power, including constitutional power, legislative power, law enforcement power and judicial power. From then on, what they say is law is law. What they say is legal is legal. What they say is illegal is illegal. They will play with all laws and regulations, including China’s Constitution, between China’s national rules and national people. They will play with the Chinese people’s government, legislatures, public The public service organs of the country, such as the prosecution of the law and the army, have become the tools of their private parties. Since then, our country, state power and state organs have not been in the hands of the people, and in the hands of the Communist Party of China, the private party, have become their tools to harvest and clean up our people. Since then, we Chinese people have fallen from the owners of the country. He has become a slave to the state of the new China of the Communist Party of China, so that today’s 1.3 billion Chinese people have been under the fooling, regulation, manipulation, service, and harvesting of the Communist Party of China from birth to death, and the people cannot refuse and are unable to resist.

Everyone! We Chinese want to live a good life today. If we want to get rid of the current poverty and predicament, we can only destroy the social harvesting system of the Communist Party of China, take back our country from the Communist Party of China, and let every Chinese have the right to participate in the formulation, consultation, discussion and expression of the National Rules as the master of the country. In the middle of the decision, we can only rebuild a set of “National Rules” that can really make every Chinese be the master of the country and truly safeguard the power and interests of every Chinese national master, and then re-organization in accordance with these “National Rules” to truly subordinate to the Chinese people, and only to serve, protect and safeguard the Chinese people’s The public government, national legislatures, regular police stations, regular procuratorates, regular courts, regular national armies that exist by power and interests, and our national resources and public wealth (including national revenue) are truly used in the national economy and people’s livelihood, which is used to protect the living conditions of every national, and to protect every country Human health and safety, and ensure the development of the country and individual citizens. And let all state organs, all public or social institutions, departments, organizations, groups, legal persons, and all people be bound by these National Rules. And change the distribution of power, blood and relationships in the new China to distribution according to labor, creativity and contribution. We must make hard work rich, so that the talents and talents of every Chinese people can be useful, and those who make sacrifices and contributions to the country and the nation can be richly rewarded. Only in this way can we Chinese truly become the masters of the country, get rid of the authoritarianism and harvest of the Communist Party of China or other authoritarian parties, truly establish a fair and benign social system and distribution mode, and live a rich, leisurely, healthy and decent life.

So, I don’t know if you want to continue to be regulated by these emperors, national thieves, dictators and autocratic parties for generations, just like our ancestors for more than two thousand years? Continue to be the ingredients on their tables and menus? Continue to be fished, harvested and trampled by them? Or should we bravely fight for the power that belongs to the master of our country? Bravely sit at the table, bravely become the real master of the country, become the master of the country who can really participate in the formulation of national rules, and truly enjoy national resources, public wealth and national interests! It is no longer like now; all the prosperity and wealth of New China have nothing to do with you.

In a modern society, the Supreme Rule of the State is usually called the Constitution. Such citizens who have the right to participate in the rule of the state are called citizens (the essence of citizens is the master of the country). This kind of “Constitution” agreed upon by all citizens is the highest rule and the most fundamental legal management model for governing the country. It is called “constitutional government”, and the process of all citizens participating in the formulation of the constitution and establishing the Constitution as the highest rule and the most fundamental law of the country is called “constitution and constitution”.

Maybe, you think it’s the same! I think even if we, more than one billion Chinese, can really formulate a Constitution to protect the civil rights and human rights of every Chinese, and we, who are more than one billion Chinese are willing to abide by, maintain and defend this constitution, what’s the use of this? What else can this change? The Communist Party of China will not adopt this set of rules, and the Communist Party of China has guns, artillery and nuclear weapons, public security, armed police and troops, and powerful urban management volunteers. We have no ability to overthrow them at all. But what I want to tell you is that this is actually because you don’t know anything about your own strength! This is actually because you don’t know anything about the power of public opinion! This is actually because you don’t know anything about the power of citizens! This is actually because the rule of the Communist Party of China has made you suffer from acquired helplessness! The Communist Party of China has never been invincible. As long as the public opinion of our 1.3 billion Chinese citizens can be condensed together to form a joint force against the Communist Party of China, the regime of the Communist Party of China will collapse in an instant.

And the process of national participation in constitution making and constitution, and the popularization of the constitutional republic is actually a process of wisdom, gathering public opinion and uniting people’s hearts. It is true that if only I am calling, or 10 or 100 people are shouting that the Chinese people should make a constitution and establish a constitution, then of course, this Constitution is soft. There is no power to speak of, but if 10,000, 100,000, or 1 million people jointly participate in the constitution-making and constitution-making, then the Communist Party of China will be very difficult to do! Moreover, after the COVID-19 lockdown, coupled with the political, economic and people’s perverse actions of the Communist Party of China in recent years, at least 5% of us Chinese people have awakened. How much is 5%? It is 70 million, which exceeds the total population of Britain. If we, the 70 million Chinese, can really formulate a constitution together and maintain it together! Comply with it! Defend! Well, this is definitely a terrorist force that can completely shake the Communist Party of China. Moreover, we are from all walks of life, all classes, and some of us even occupy important positions of the Communist Party of China. We only need to wait for the first sound of the new thunder, and we can fight the Communist Party of China together with the people’s hearts and public opinions.

And if we, the 70 million citizens, mobilize our parents, children, and relatives, friends and colleagues around us, when we agree with the national constitution and constitution, when we agree that the Constitution as China’s highest rule, when the population exceeds 350 million, it will not eliminate more than half of China’s population, but only our 350 million. If tens of millions of Chinese citizens take to the streets at the same time (the population of the United States is about 340 million) to demand that the Communist Party of China step down, demand that the Communist Party of China return power, and demand that China implement a democratic constitutional republic, then the regime of the Communist Party of China will collapse overnight. You don’t have to worry that we are not armed, because as long as the people’s hearts and public opinion can reach this level, then the vast majority of the people’s soldiers will only aim their guns at the heads of the high-level Communist Party of China. Because, although the head of the army, the chief, the political commissar, the staff and the leading cadres are the backbone members of the Communist Party of China, the grass-roots officers and soldiers of the army have never been the vested interests of the Communist Party of China. Like us, they are just victims and consumables of the Communist Party of China. Moreover, the people’s soldiers are not born as the sons of the Party, nor are they the sons of the leading cadres of the Communist Party of China. They are the sons of the people and the common people. (Note: No one of the sons of the leading cadres is a soldier.)

But gentlemen! It is useless for us to know, think and hope to overthrow the Communist Party of China. We must take action. We must take practical action immediately, everyone! Only action can overthrow the Communist Party of China.

We can’t expect the United States or Taiwan to save us. As an adult, you should know that no one in the world can save you except yourself. Moreover, if even we dare not stand up to save ourselves, then you don’t expect others to come to save you.

We can no longer have any illusions about the Communist Party of China. It’s been 2,000 years, everyone! We have fantasized again and again, and thought again and again that as long as we hand over the fate of our country, nation and individual to the wise man, the so-called holy king and great man, and to those political parties that speak better than singing and do not take the masses, we can live in peace and live a happy life, but in the end, Our ancestors have paid wrongly for this, and paid the tragic price of 2,000 years of cattle and horses, slaves and maids for their stupidity and cowardice.

Ladies and gentlemen! We can’t continue to entrust the fate of the country, the nation, and individuals to them. We have to control our own country and our own destiny. We have to let the power of the country lie with the people, not the emperors, the imperial court, the great men and the political parties. Ladies and gentlemen! We should not find someone to be the master of ourselves at any time. We must learn to be our own master, and we must be brave to be the master of ourselves!

Ladies and gentlemen! We must make China’s supreme law no longer the golden words of the emperor, nor the legal provisions of any political party. China’s supreme law should only be the National Rules formulated by each of us Chinese.

Ladies and gentlemen! We must become the master of the country with the right to participate in the governance of the country, and no longer the slaves of the country under the rule. Only in this way can we break the dead cycle of the country’s prosperity and the people’s suffering, and the country’s death.

So, how should we take the first step of constitution-making? How to take the first step to overthrow the Communist Party of China?

In fact, the answer is that everyone should do their own actions physically and bravely. We should not worry about our own smallness, nor be afraid of our own lack of strength, but everyone should bravely take action within our power, because as long as we can gather these two or three seemingly ordinary, weak and small individual forces, as long as we can gather China’s more than one billion public When the people’s forces come together, we can become a terrorist force that creates history, crush the Communist Party of China, realize the power of the people, and realize the constitutional republic.

As an ordinary Chinese, a civilian lawyer, all I can do is to talk about constitutional republic with everyone online and offline, shoot some dull videos, and write a little word. I don’t care if anyone reads it, whether anyone pays attention to and agrees, I don’t care about my insigicence, and I don’t care about my actions. Whether it has any effect, whether it can affect others, because the most important thing is that I have done it, the important thing is that I am taking action, and the important thing is that I have rebelled against the Communist Party of China.

From today, I will also publicly solicit opinions from Chinese citizens on China’s constitutional republic online and offline. If you agree to participate in constitution-making, constitution-making, or agree with China’s constitutional republic, please leave a message or send me an email. You can also write your signature on the fabric and mail it to me. It can be your real name, net name or It’s your favorite code name. If you have any questions or confusions about China’s constitutional republic and national participation in constitutional making, please contact me so that we can discuss and explore together.

I hope that more friends can participate in the constitution-making and constitution-making, so that each of us can take as much action as we can according to our own actual situation without endangering the safety of ourselves and our families. For example, put forward your own views, popularize the constitutional republic, spread the progress of national constitution, expose the history distorted by the Communist Party of China, expose the real social environment of the new China, or participate in collecting the opinions of the Chinese people on the implementation of a constitutional republic, etc. Here, I am not a caller, nor a founder or advocate, nor a successor to the legacy of the constitutional sages. I am just an ordinary adviser, a man who is unwilling to be a cow and horse and lucky enough to realize that the constitutional republic is the one who ended the fate of the people for 2,000 years, just because I was born I am a member of the Chinese, and I was born with Chinese blood. Therefore, I feel obliged to tell my compatriots who are blinded and living in hardship that I am lucky enough to know. Moreover, in fact, every Chinese citizen should be the protagonist of national constitution and constitution and should be the protagonist of China’s constitutional republic. Each of us Chinese citizens has the right to make their own suggestions and exercise their right to vote on the formulation of China’s Supreme Rules.

To defeat the Communist Party of China, we Chinese must learn to no longer be a scattering sand but be able to spontaneously gather and unite to achieve things like the citizens of old civil countries. We can summarize the opinions we have collected from Chinese people on China’s implementation of a constitutional republic. If one day, when there are more than 1 million Chinese people who agree with China’s constitutional republic, we can vote to form a “Preliminary Constitutional Alliance” and prepare for the preliminary constitutional republic; when we agree to China’s constitutional republic When there are more than 10 million Chinese people, we can vote to formally form the “Constitutional Alliance” and start drafting the constitution, start soliciting opinions from the Chinese people on China’s highest rules and provisions, and start making the Draft Constitution; when 70 million Chinese people agree with the Draft Constitution drafted by the Constitutional Alliance As China’s Provisional Constitution, the Provisional Constitution will take effect. When 350 million Chinese citizens agree with this Provisional Constitution, we only need to wait quietly for an opportunity. When we seize it, it will break out in a hurry. Our 350 million Chinese citizens will take the lead in taking to the streets and then drive them The people of other countries surrounded the government of the Communist Party of China in various provinces, cities and counties, surrounded the Central South China Sea of the Communist Party of China, and occupied Tiananmen Square. Together, they demanded that the Communist Party of China should sit sit down, jointly demand that the Communist Party of China return to the government to the people, and jointly realize a constitutional republic of China. After the overthrow of the Communist Party of China, all of us Chinese citizens will revise the Provisional Constitution together, and then negotiate, discuss and vote together to formulate a Constitution that truly belongs to 1.3 billion Chinese people and can safeguard the power and interests of every Chinese national master, so as to open up China’s constitutional republic, so as to Now the political modernization of the Chinese nation.

It’s a pity here that I originally spent more than half a year inviting more than 30 lawyers I know, hoping to form a “Constitutional 30 Lawyers” to make a statement, suggest China’s constitution and constitution, and take actions within our power for the Chinese constitutional republic, but they are forced to work and live. , family and various forms of pressure and worries about future uncertainty, no one finally agreed. Therefore, today, I am the only one here to make suggestions to the Chinese people to open the national constitution and implement a constitutional republic.

Although I am alone, I do not believe that I am a loner in this era. Therefore, I am also here to issue an invitation.

On the afternoon of August 30, 2025, at 3:00 PM, the 753rd Jasmine Action was held as scheduled outside the Chinese Consulate in Los Angeles. The sweltering summer heat did not deter the steps of democracy activists and human rights defenders. Dozens of participants held banners and signs, chanting slogans in unison, demanding that the Chinese Communist Party immediately release political prisoners detained in Shandong and end all persecution of free speech and civil rights.

The atmosphere was solemn and determined. Participants raised banners reading “The CCP Must Release Political Prisoners in Shandong” and “Defend Freedom of Speech”, along with placards bearing the photos of political prisoners. Those being supported included: Sun Wenguang, Wu Yanan, Wang Lizhen, Feng Xiaoyan, Gao Xin, Jia Guoxi, and Zeng Fanjin. These names represent not only individuals, but also an indelible force of conscience and courage within Chinese society.

Shandong has long been one of the regions where the CCP’s suppression of dissent has been the most severe. On this ancient land, a group of people continue to confront authoritarian rule with conscience and courage, and their plight reflects the heavy reality of Chinese society. Sun Wenguang, a retired professor from Shandong University, disappeared seven years ago after publicly commemorating June 4th and writing to Xi Jinping urging attention to people’s livelihood; his fate remains unknown. Wu Yanan, an associate professor at Nankai University, was forcibly committed to a psychiatric hospital after supporting students in the White Paper protests and has been missing ever since. Gao Xin, an artist, used his works to expose the absurdity of Mao Zedong and the Cultural Revolution, but was detained for “defaming the honor of heroes and martyrs.” Jia Guoxi, a signatory of Charter 08, has been imprisoned for “subversion of state power” after calling for constitutionalism. Wang Lizhen, a petitioner from Zibo, Shandong, was repeatedly persecuted under the charge of “picking quarrels and provoking trouble” for seeking justice for her father and supporting others. Zeng Fanjin, a former police instructor from Yuncheng, was sentenced to ten years in prison after exposing corruption under his real name, showing that even insiders of the system have no safety. Feng Xiaoyan, a former People’s Congress cadre in Linyi, was detained and placed in a psychiatric hospital for criticizing corruption and supporting democracy.

These individuals are not criminals; they are the backbone of civil society. Their names connect intellectuals, artists, ordinary citizens, and even conscientious insiders, together forming the most genuine cry for freedom, democracy, and justice in China. What they have in common is this: they have committed no real crime. They merely exercised the most basic responsibility of citizens—supervising power, speaking truth, and defending human rights. As one banner at the event declared: “Speech is Not a Crime, Prisoners of Conscience are Not Criminals.”

In their speeches, event hosts Ma Qun and Yang Hao emphasized that the CCP routinely abuses political charges such as “picking quarrels and provoking trouble” and “subversion of state power” to punish those who dare to tell the truth. The cases in Shandong once again demonstrate the CCP’s extreme fear of the most basic civil right—freedom of speech. The regime attempts to keep society silent through intimidation, imprisonment, and even torture. Yet, this repression only makes its hypocrisy clearer: it calls itself “the people’s government,” yet fears the people’s voices; it claims to “rule by law,” yet fabricates charges to strip innocent citizens of their freedom.

Prominent civil rights activist Chen Guangcheng, known as the “blind human rights lawyer,” attended in person and delivered a speech. He recalled his own years of persecution for exposing injustices at the grassroots level in China and stressed that the political prisoners in Shandong are facing the same fate. Chen stated:

“The CCP fears the awakening of the people even more than it fears the spread of truth. Sun Wenguang and Wu Yanan are not criminals, they are the backbone of our nation. Their imprisonment shows only the weakness and fear of the CCP regime. The evil of the CCP is imposed from the top down. We must not harbor the slightest illusion about it. Only by overthrowing the CCP’s dictatorial rule can freedom and democracy be realized.”

His speech was met with repeated applause and chants. Many participants expressed that Chen Guangcheng’s presence further strengthened their confidence and drew more international attention to the plight of Shandong’s political prisoners.

Throughout the event, the crowd repeatedly shouted: “Release All Political Prisoners!” “Down with CCP Tyranny!” “Step Down, Communist Party! Step Down, Xi Jinping!” Though voiced overseas, these calls crossed borders and resonated within mainland China. While today’s rally expressed solidarity with Shandong’s political prisoners, its demands were not limited to Shandong. They called for the release of all those persecuted across China for their speech. The ongoing Jasmine Actions send a clear signal to the international community—the Chinese people have not abandoned resistance. As long as CCP tyranny exists, the Jasmine Actions will not cease.

Freedom of expression is the most fundamental human right and the cornerstone of modern society. Without freedom of speech, there can be no real democracy, nor a just society. The organizers called on governments, international organizations, and media outlets to continue to focus on the plight of Shandong’s political prisoners and to include these cases in dialogues and pressure on the CCP. No one should be imprisoned for expressing their thoughts, and no one should be persecuted for holding onto their beliefs.

At the end of the rally, event organizer Ni Shicheng reiterated:

“We must call for the release of Sun Wenguang, Wu Yanan, Wang Lizhen, Feng Xiaoyan, Gao Xin, Jia Guoxi, Zeng Fanjin, and all prisoners of conscience persecuted in China! We must let the international community know that the CCP’s dictatorship and persecution are not only China’s problem but a challenge for all humanity. Only when China gains freedom can the world truly be safe.”

The 753rd Jasmine Action concluded on the streets of Los Angeles, but the flame of resistance has been ignited in countless hearts. From Shandong to all of China, and from China to the world, the voices defending freedom and human rights grow ever louder.
